Hey, it's been a while since I drew badass women. It's about time.
So, you tattoo artists and you archaeologists might recognize these tattoos. They belong to a group of mummies found in Siberia dating from some 2500 years ago. Most notable of these was the mummy known as Princess Ukok.
"They are all believed to be Pazyryk people - a nomadic people described in the 5th century BC by the Greek historian Herodotus - and the colourful body artwork is seen as the best preserved and most elaborate ancient tattoos anywhere in the world" according to the Siberian Times.
As for the girl I drew, I didn't use any direct reference, although I drew a lot of inspiration from HelenaRey.
